I really thought I had done it. I'm pretty young, afterall. And I've traveled some before...
I thought I had conquered jet lag. My flight landed on Saturday morning around 8am, and I stayed awake all day Saturday - powering through any urge for a nap. Took some melatonin Saturday night around 10pm, and woke up on Sunday around 8am. Ten hours of sleep and feeling springy. I thought for sure jet lag had passed me by.
Until 3am this morning (late Sunday night). Some noise in the hallway woke up, and I've been up ever since. I read a girly romance book. I did some stretches. I laid on my back in the dark and counted to 100. I sent some emails. All to no avail. The jet lag got me...... It's now 6:30am, so I might as well be up for good for the day!
