Pineapple Chili

Our introduction to Vietnam was a pineapple chili margarita.  It really was a great way to kick off the next phase of traveling (2 weeks in Vietnam).  Marsh, Kristina, and I had dinner at an old opium refinery, turned restaurant - Hoa Tuc.

Although I would assume that a pineapple chili margarita can make most people pretty dang happy - I think what really added to the dinner was our waiter.  His girlfriend was the bartender, and he was so pleased that we loved the drinks she had made for us.  

That waiter smiled like I have seen no other waiter smile before.  My dad used to say, "smile and the world smiles back."  Someone must have passed this theory onto our waiter - because his smile seemed to take up a third of his face!  It was impressive.  Need to keep working on my New Year's resolution of smiling more... I feel like I've been slacking!
